Anime Mid-Atlantic - June 16-18, 2006

Vendor Rules
The following regulations are made for several reasons. First, to make the convention enjoyable for everyone. Second, to not allow any one vendor any unfair advantage over another (i.e. Bootleg items). Third, to forward anime in the mainstream in the Richmond Market. Lastly, to allow us to avoid any unnecessary legal actions against us or the vendors that attend our conventions.

As more companies enter the US Anime market, issues become important than ever concerning the selling of bootleg items. We as a private convention do not and will not condone the selling of items considered bootleg or items under copyright infringement. This policy that Anime Mid-Atlantic has adopted, protects the Anime companies, the fans in attendance, and our vendors. We would like to have a convention that reflects the respect that we have for the industry that has brought us decades of anime and to show how we support that industry.

The rules as set forth on the Vendor Contract govern the use of the vendor room and should be signed and mailed into the convention address. By purchasing tables for the convention, you (the vendor) agree to abide by the forth-set rules. The Vendor Rules and Contract is in PDF (Acrobat) format and can be viewed and downloaded here.

Vendor Payment

Two ways to make payment
- Payment of the total cost of the tables in full allows for you to pick your location based on postmark on letter/payment.

- $100.00 deposit per table allows for up to 6 tables to be held for you until 90 days prior to the convention in which remainder of payment for tables is due.

All refunds must be in writing to the convention address no later than 90 days prior to convention. Any refund requests after this time cannot be honored due to the nature of the convention. If there are any problems, please feel free to contact us at animemidatlantic@yahoo.com.

Remaining balances are due at our office no later than April 1st, 2006. Final payments due after this date will be assessed a 10% Late Charge on the remaining balance as of April 2nd, 2006. If final payment is not received by May 1st, 2006, all tables will be reinstated to Anime Mid-Atlantic and the deposit will be forfeited.

Vendor Electrical and Telecommunication Needs
The Greater Richmond Convention Center has posted information for Vendors who need electricity and telecommunications during the convention. Follow the links below:

Vendors who need utilities and have not set them up with the Convention Center in advance will be subjected to an extra setup charge at the event. Please get this squared away with the Convention Center before you arrive.

Vendor Convention Center Access - Unloading and Loading
The exhibit hall and Vendor Room loading dock is located on Leigh Street at the corner of 3rd Street and has 16 loading bays. You will pass through a security gate to gain access to the loading dock. There is a large garage-type door where you can gain access to the back hallways leading to the Vendor Room.

Overnight parking for oversized trucks is not allowed in the main parking deck (the 3rd Street parking garage) for the Convention Center. Oversized trucks can park in one of the parking spaces in the loading area (not the near the loading bays). Day parking for smaller vehicles in this area is $12. Overnight parking is $26. Small vehicles are encouraged to unload their materials then parking in the nearby Marriott parking garage (5th and Marshall parking garage).
