For our sixth year Anime Mid-Atlantic will mark its first appearance
at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. A recently enhanced
and extended facility, this convention center is located in
historic downtown Richmond next to the Richmond Coliseum, just
off Interstate 95. Travel information and directions
can be found below. Parking is available at the convention center
or in nearby parking garages.
No more tightly-spaced hallways to navigate while trying to
get to your next convention event, this facility is huge. Plenty
of walking space, gathering areas, and event seating will be
available. Our Main Events room will be greatly expanded in
size from past events. Food can be purchased at the convention
center's Cafe at a reasonable price (no outside food
allowed). The Cyber Cafe, in addition to snacks and
coffee, has computer kikos and localized wireless internet access
for those who have a laptop.
If you choose to dine outside of the convention center, there
is a Food Court located across the street next to the Richmond
Coliseum. The Richmond Marriott also has a restaurant. For more

Food from outside of the GRCC is not allowed.
If you choose to eat outside of the convention center, the Sixth Street
Market is located across Fifth Street near the 5th and Marshall Street
parking garage. The Sixth Street Market is a food court consisting
of mostly small mom & pop-type of restaurants and serves downtown
workers and events at the GRCC and Richmond Coliseum.
