Convention Center Rules
Our new host, the Greater Richmond Convention Center, has a few rules which you should know about before and during your visit to the facility. We will also post our rules here as well. Most are common sense guidelines which will help make everyone's visit more enjoyable.

rules will be posted soon . . .

This year AMA will host its first series of music concerts. All concerts will be held in one of the Greater Richmond Convention Center's large exhibition halls, so there will be plenty of seating and standing room for all. Anime and video game musician Piano Squall will take the stage on Friday at 6PM. Singer/song writer Mari Iijima (the voice of Macross' Lynn Minmei) will be performing on Friday at 9PM. An autograph session will follow her concert. To Mari fans: she will be leaving AMA on Saturday, so make sure you attend the convention on Friday. And concluding our concert series, singer/song writer Kristine Sa will take the stage on Saturday at 5:30PM.

Con goers will perform and showcase their costuming and showmanship talents on the grand stage. If you are not quite ready for the bright lights of the Cosplay, why not enter the Hall Costume Contest which occurs on Friday and Saturday afternoons during the convention weekend.

The Video Game Room gets a slightly larger venue in 2006. More elbow room. As always it will be stocked with the latest cutting edge video games and consoles plus some old school favorites. The Video Game Tournament list is now online and is listed by day. Exact times will be announced soon.

Main Events and three Video Rooms will again show a mix of classic and the latest anime available in the U.S. We show subtitled and dubbed movies, OAVs, and television shows.
